The short version

Veilwise does not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal data. There is no account, no analytics and no tracking. A privacy app should practice what it preaches, so everything you do stays on your device.

Information we do not collect

Veilwise has no servers and no backend. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, usage analytics or any other personal information. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information stored on your device

Your progress (which steps you have marked complete) and onboarding state are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. This information never leaves your device and is removed if you delete the app.

Purchases

Premium features are sold as In-App Purchases (monthly or yearly subscriptions, or a one-time Lifetime purchase) processed entirely by Apple. Veilwise never sees or stores your payment details. Purchase validation is handled on-device through Apple's StoreKit. Apple's handling of transactions is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Links to Apple Settings

Veilwise guides you through your iPhone's own Settings and may open the Settings app. It cannot read or change your settings for you, and it does not monitor what you do there.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party fonts or scripts. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address) for security; see GitHub's privacy statement.

Children

Veilwise is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the revised version at this address.
